Office of the Historian
Dear Aspiring 46er:
By contacting our Historian’s Office you have
expressed interest in becoming a member of the Adirondack Forty-Sixers. We are
offering new climbers the opportunity to become an “Aspiring Forty-Sixer”. For $8.00 a
year you will receive two issues of Peeks Magazine (our official publication)
and our three newsletters. You can stay
up on 46er projects, participate in trailwork activities, and read member
stories. Your $8.00 annual payment will
be carried over as your “initial dues payment” upon completing the 46 and
becoming an “official member.”
Any
non-member can volunteer for 46er Trail Projects and earn their “Conservation
Service Award” prior to finishing their climbs.
You can also consult our website www.adk46r.org
for details about the organization.
Only active/recorded
members can vote on issues or purchase emblem items, i.e. patches, decals,
t-shirts, etc. Active members are
those members who have:
·
Finished climbing
all 46 high peaks
·
Submitted their
questionnaire and mountain list to the Historian’s Office.
·
Paid their $8.00
initial dues to the Treasurer.
·
Families/Individuals
living at the same address need only send $8 unless they wish multiple mailings
